1. Service Description
- BrighterVPN is a service designed to provide an enhanced level of anonymity, privacy, and online data protection.
- The service operates on the PureVPN white-label platform, and thus certain aspects of its functionality are governed by PureVPN’s Terms and Conditions.
- Payments for VPN plans, including cryptocurrency transactions, are facilitated by NOWPayments, which also imposes specific terms and responsibilities.
- Users can purchase VPN plans (1-month or 12-month) using over 140 cryptocurrencies, including SXP, via their Web3 wallet. Traditional payment methods like credit cards and PayPal are also supported through NOWPayments.
- BrighterVPN is primarily targeted at:
- Users who prefer not to share email or credit card data.
- Residents of unbanked regions with limited online access.
- Crypto-savvy travellers, digital nomads, and journalists.
- Individuals in regions under heavy surveillance or censorship.
2. User Obligations
- Users must use BrighterVPN in compliance with all applicable local laws.
- Upon registration/payment, users create a unique username and receive a password that grants access to both the app and website.
- For accounts created via crypto payments without an email address, password recovery will not be possible. Users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials with the same care as a crypto wallet passphrase.
3. Payments
- VPN subscription plans are offered at:
- $12.99 for a 1-month plan.
- $37.99 for a 12-month plan (45% savings).
- Cryptocurrency payment amounts are determined by real-time exchange rates facilitated by NOWPayments.
- Refunds for crypto payments will be processed upon verifying the transaction hash and its ownership. This verification may require a signed wallet message or QR code.
- Users paying with cryptocurrency must renew their plan manually. If not renewed, their account will revert to a “Free-minimum” plan.
4. Geographical Restrictions
- BrighterVPN’s app is compatible with Android and iOS.
- Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with their local laws. Solar Enterprises will not be held liable if the use of BrighterVPN is illegal in a user’s region.
5. Modifications and Termination
- BrighterVPN operates as-is, and no modifications to the service are permitted by users.
6. Limitation of Liability
- Solar Enterprises’ liability is limited to ensuring successful SXP payments for services.
- BrighterVPN is not responsible for service disruptions, misuse, or any legal consequences arising from user actions.
Privacy Policy
1. Data Collection
- BrighterVPN does not collect user data without explicit consent.
- Transaction-related data is public by nature, as it occurs on the blockchain.
- Email addresses may be collected for the purpose of service notifications, including reminders about plan expiration or security updates.
2. Data Storage
- User data, including emails (if provided), is stored securely on Cloudflare servers.
3. User Rights
- Users can access, modify, or delete their accounts at any time.
4. Data Sharing
- BrighterVPN does not sell or share user data with third parties, except as required to process payments or comply with legal obligations.
